  2. Hey that was quick. I totally understand but thank you for this prompt reply. I just discovered your blog and i am amazed you're sharing so much of your experience. People who ger hired usually keep it secret. When u wanted to get in I frustrated nobody wanted to give a hint. But look at you helping and replying everybody. I admire you're dedication. I have a story coming up because i want to share my experience too. I have my annual recency this week. It's my 4th year but the apprehension of the simulator is still here. I hope i can share my story too like you do and give people back what I've always expected. Some help to achieve a dream. Have a good day cabin crew dreamer. Once a Cabin Crew, Always a Cabin Crew :)

    1. Thank you so much dear Lucio for your kind words, you are such a sweet soul :-)
Whenever you share your story please share with me the link to your blog/site or whatever it is so i can read it too. I love cabin crew stories. The reason why i share so much of my experience is that i know how frustrating it can be to be in the dark and have no information when we have so many question about something we dont know much about. I remember before i became a cabin crew, i asked so many questions to a lot of people but no one really helped me or shed any light upon whatever i was curious about. It was frustrating to not get any help anywhere. So i just want to do the opposite here and letting others know they have someone who will 100% answer their questions. And getting information and knowing few pieces of information truly give us some kind of peace of mind and a relief and takes off a little bit of the stress or worry we feel before we are going to join a company or attend an assessment ect :-)
or can give us little bit of HOPE :-)
Wow that you have worked 4 years, that is amazing, you should totally be proud of your hard work , well done :-)
And good luck on your annual recency :-)
      Wishing you a blessed day

  3. Hi!! :)) It's me again (glasses). ;)
    I hope you're enjoying the summer! :))<3
I wanted to ask some more questions... Please anwer them if you feel comfortable tellig us ;)
How does Etihad treat their employees? How strict are these housing rules? (I heard something from Emirates, that they can't leave the house at night and have to log themselves out etc, but I'm not sure whether that's true...)
Also, in the u.a.e., did you feel any discrimination against women?
Aaand... How are the hotels you stay(ed) in? I don't mean stars, but I mean like safety and cleanliness ;)
    Have a great day!

    1. Hi dear
      hope ur well
i love when u mention the 'glasses'' then i know exactly who it is...so i can rewind and think what we discussed... :-)
      as for ur questions::::

How does Etihad treat their employees?
During the time i worked there, i didnt noticed anything negative. I felt whatever i asked for was answered from them, and whatever i needed help with them helped me with. My personal opinion and what i saw was that they do care about their staff and make sure everyone is taken care of. I honestly dont have anything negative to say in regards to this question :-)

During training, the crew had a curfew..after training was finished they didnt had that...im not sure if etihad still have this or not....and for visitors there is a set rules...ex they cant stay over too long ect...also visitors always have to write in a notebook for security reasons..with visitors i mean people outside of etihad.....other than that there are no specific rules.....the only company that are super strict about this are qatar.

Also, in the u.a.e., did you feel any discrimination against women?
not at all....uae is such a international place with sooo many expats that u truly dont feel like this. i never felt discriminated when i lived in uae. compared to qatar use is very open....this is my experience and how i felt it was.

Before i joined etihad, i never could afford these luxurious, amazing, safe, clean hotels...seriously etihad do make sure the crew are placed in safe, amazing, top notch, clean hotels :-)
