You apply through their careers website.
It is recommended to apply for a specific city rather than selecting “Cabin Crew Future Opportunities.” When a city is advertised, it indicates that Riyadh Air plans to conduct an active recruitment process there. Compared to applications submitted under “Cabin Crew Future Opportunities” can take a very long time to receive a response. Many applicants have shared that applying for a specific city resulted in a much quicker response compared to the future opportunities option.
Above are some of the questions you will need to answer in the online application.
You will also be required to upload a passport size photo and a full-length photo as part of your application.
Examples of good passport size photos and full lenght photos are below:::
Photos should follow a professional dress code.
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
If you are shortlisted, you will receive an online assessment to complete.
It is important not to cheat or use any form of assistance during the online assessment as AI is used to monitor the process. The assessment also states that photos of the applicant will be taken throughout.
For example, one of the questions asked is via video, as shown below:
The question shown above is the only one that requires you to record yourself. All remaining questions are completed without video.
Above is what you can expect from the online assessment.
Once you have completed the assessment, you should receive a confirmation email.
Then you wait.....
If you get shortlisted further, you will get an email to attend a in-person assessment:::
If you are successful in the assessment, you may receive an email like the one shown below:
As I mentioned earlier, Riyadh Air uses AI in their recruitment process, meaning every detail of your application is carefully evaluated. To help improve your AI assessment score, here are some key tips to keep in mind:
Remember:::: Doing all of these will help you get a higher AI score. However, the final shortlisting is still done by the recruiter, who decides whether to move you forward or not. Sometimes, even when we follow every textbook guideline perfectly, we can still face rejection due to HR decisions::::::::::::::::::::
----- Choose a quiet, well-lit room. Ensure your face is clearly visible. Natural light works best, avoid backlighting.
----- Minimize filler words. Avoid ''um'' ''like'' or ''you know'' Keep answers concise, ideally 60–90 seconds, and don’t ramble.
----- Maintain eye contact with the camera, not your screen, to appear engaged. Looking up/ down/ sideways too much is regarded as cheating, and might get you rejected and get a lower score.
----- Smile naturally. Warm, approachable expressions score higher. The AI tracks facial cues.
----- Speak clearly and at a moderate pace. Friendly, calm tone is ideal. Avoid rushing or speaking too slowly.
----- Use natural hand gestures. Subtle movements show confidence without being distracting. Don’t move your hands/ shoulders too much. Constant body movement indicates nervousness and unpreparedness. Keep your body in a calm and composed state
----- Be authentic. Over-rehearsed or robotic answers can be detected by AI.
----- Structure answers with STAR: Situation, Task, Action, Result ensures clarity and impact.
----- Use professional, clear, and polite language. Avoid slang or overly casual expressions.
----- Highlight key traits. Emphasize teamwork, service orientation, adaptability, problem-solving, cultural awareness, and communication. Phrase examples like: ''I collaborated with...'' or ''I adapted by...'' etc.
----- Use action verbs. Words like: implemented, led, resolved, improved etc strengthen your impact.
----- Mirror job description language subtly. Keywords in your responses may align with AI scoring criteria. The algorithm then checks how many words from the job description you have included in your response.
------ Dress professionally. Even subtle cues influence perception.
----- Focus on both delivery and content. Strong stories can be undermined by poor video, audio, or monotone delivery.
The AI algorithm evaluates 2 major aspects of your response:
---Verbal: Your speech, words, tone, pronunciation, voice, pauses, etc.
---Nonverbal: Body language, eye, lip and hand movements
As for resume tips, this link below is a good tips of how a resume should look like:
CV sample
Your resume should be short and to the point, 1-2 pages max. Remove any unnecessary details and keep only the information that is relevant. Also make sure to add action words in your CV.
I have heard many stories of candidates in their 30s and 40s successfully getting this job. This is very encouraging for applicants who may be concerned about age.
Good luck with your Riyadh Air application💚 😊
