Im beyond excited.
I have - to be exact 9 days left to finish the training.
13 days left until my 1st supi flight.
This is my 1st roster for July :
I also think im on standby during one time as well, so they might send me somewhere between those dates.
But all im focusing on right now is to pass/finish the training!

i am sorry i am asking you this but i am thinking of applying for etihad actually no i have an interview but i just read online that the pay and roster conditions are horrible...
ReplyDeleteis it true that for the first 6 months you get just 500euros ???
and after that it pays less than emirates not even the same?
and that the roster for the first 1-2 years is horrible and always turnarounds etc???!?!?!
Hi...
DeleteI totally think u should apply to etihad...its a great airline for u to work with....
well let me clear some topics here...
during the training...u will only get the basic salary which is approx 650euros something....
than when we fly we get around 1400-2200 euros...
it all depends...where we fly....ex europe flights pay more...than asian flights...or if we have a lot of turnarounds or layovers...
during my year with etihad...i had one of the best rosters ever...i flew to africa, europe, australia, asia, middle east..i had a lot of layovers..too
my roster was always a mix.....it was wonderful...
..as for emirates..i heard they get similar as us too...not much difference....regarding the salary...
the information u read online or heard... is not true..
Good Luck!
Ohhh thank you SO MUCH!!! this so good to know!!
ReplyDeleteI have applied and I have been invited from Etihad I am just waiting for a suitable place to go as they do not come to my country,, Maybe I will attend next month!!
Thank you so much!! Do you have any tips for the Assessment/Final Interview??
Your welcome...and good luck on ur assessment/final interview...hope the best for u....
Deletewell as for tips..u can check this page...as i written tons here:::

WISH U THE BEST
Is there any difference between emirates and Etihad you think?
ReplyDeleteSuch as work conditions etc??
as for ek and ey and salary/working conditions...
Deleteno its pretty much the same
both companies are great..i have tons of friends who works for emirates and their stories is pretty much the same....
the differences isnt much to be honest....
I as well have been short-listed, and waiting for an Assessment day in Europe, read there will be one in Amsterdam mid/end May; so might end up on that one. Anyway, reading your blog, I just applied the other day, and they got back to me next day; I laighed feeling someone actually read my CV :D ****** I wish you many happy flights, and if I get to the Abu Dhabi, will try and give you a wink.... ;) e.
ReplyDeleteHi!!!
Deletecongrats on getting ur invite...must be so excited and fun....
wish u all the best
and i hope u get ur wings to fly..and enjoy every corner of the world
as for me im no longer working for etihad i resigned 1 year ago...
but we all have to move on sooner or later.....
anyhow take care and good luckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
hi,
ReplyDeleteu are doing a good job on ur blog.
do u think etihad hire married women and as old as 35years?
Hello!
DeleteThank you for your kind words dear....
regarding your questions...
i have to say i know for sure 100% Etihad are not hiring married people...
but of course people are married and having kids ect...while being a crew...but they never declared this..
as the company want single people....
so if u are going to apply for etihad never declare this...that you are married..
as for ur age...i have had co workers on board who was 30+....the oldest crew on etihad i met was 36 years old actually....well 36 isnt that old to us...but in the sense of etihad i mean....
but im not sure how this goes if you start your aviation career being 35 years old....
but i have worked with tons tons of 30+ crew.....though....
but i do advice you to apply regardless your age....
but im sorry i dont have 100% accurate info about 35+
in that sense of joining the company at that age....
but of course u should try if ur interested....
but remember IF u are married..never write this anywhere...
:-)
have a lovely day
take care oxox
Hi! I love reading you blog! You mentioned that the salary is between 1400-2200 euros…Does that include Per Diem (layover allowance) already? If per diem isn’t included in the 1400-2200 euros, how much would cabin crew collect on average? Emirates gives per diem in the local currency of the country you’re visiting (ex. 80 Australian dollars for Perth layover). Thank you so much for helping!
ReplyDeletehi dear...thank u for ur kind words....
Deleteas for the salary yes the amount i mentioned 1400-2200 is the total u will get...included everything....
yeah i know about ek gives the allowances in that local currency on each flight...but etihad dont do this...
the layover allowances is included in ur monthly salary..
although i like emirates idea better....
have a great evening..take care :-)
Hello! Glad to have came upon your blog. I've been invited to EY, Ad. There's one form, among many, which is about Vaccination Certificate and to be filled by physician. I don't remember when I had my vaccinations....do I need to a blood check then? Thx.
ReplyDeletehi dear hope ur doing well...exciting news that u got a invite for etihad....i dont think u guys who do a etihad assessment should do blood tests and vaccinations before the assessment....u only should fill in that health form ect.....cause u guys should do vaccination and blood stuff after u did the final interview......or even wait until u reach to abu dhabi....cause there u will be doing all that.....good luck dear.....take good care of urself...xoxo
DeleteHi guys,I am thinking of applying for Etihad airways but concerned about my eyesight problem.I have a power of -14,but can see clearily wearing contact lenses.Could you please suggest me that would a doc or etihad people tell me to remove my lenses and read or i can read the with my lenses at the time of my medicals???
ReplyDeletehi Lina...
Deletei wish i could help u with this questions, or if anyone reading this could help too....
but i would suggest u posting this question in the cabin crew forum website...middle east section...i bet there are many people there who would help u more...
good luck....
Heya cabincrewdreamer, do you by any chance know if you happen to wear glasses, that u would need to bring/buy contact lenses to the training start date? or can u do this after once u start flying etc? Many thanks
ReplyDeletehellloooo all the way to u
Deleteregarding glasses/contact lenses
actually u have to have ur doctor sign a paper saying what degree ur eyes are and what eye sight u have ect...and this paper u have to bring with u to abu dhabi....
its acceptable to wear lenses...no worries...but still this paper has to be with u to the office in abu dhabi
the glasses...u have to bring with u and show to the grooming manager and she/he has to approve if u can wear those or not
as they have regulations about glasses and how they look like
people cant wear whatever they like ect.....
so during ur medical exams in the training u need to show that eye sight paper...from ur dr ...and bring those glasses to training...to show later on to the grooming manager.....u have to do all of this before flying ect....
good luck have a nice day
xxxxx
